How Our Adoption Process Works

We’re so excited you’re considering a Copper Creek Bernedoodle to join your family! We work hard to make the adoption experience smooth and enjoyable. Here’s what you can expect:
 

1. Fill Out Our Application

This helps us get to know you — your home, your lifestyle, and what kind of Bernedoodle fits your family best.

2. Reserve Your Spot

A deposit secures your place on our waiting list for upcoming litters. Families choose their puppy in the order deposits are received.

3. Litter Updates Begin!

As soon as puppies arrive, we’ll keep you updated with photos, weekly notes, and videos so you can watch your puppy grow.

4. Choosing Your Puppy

Around 5–6 weeks, it’s time to pick! We help match you with the puppy whose coat, size, and personality best fit your family’s needs.

5. Getting Ready for Gotcha Day

Before going home, every puppy sees our licensed veterinarian, receives age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, and gets microchipped. We also start early socialization and crate introduction.

6. Pickup or Delivery

Puppies go home at 8 weeks old. You can pick up at our home in Townville, SC, or we can help schedule safe ground transportation.

7. Lifetime Support

We’re always here for you. Whether you need help with training, feeding, or anything in between, you’re part of the Blue Ridge Bernedoodles family for life.
